Bernina University 2011

Best news first: We are the District Dealer of the Year for Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin…thanks to all of you, of course! 

We took some wonderful classes while at BU.  This one is a cutwork and applique class on the 830 with Lunchbox Quilts!  Look at the sea of 830s – heavenly! 

We appliqued and cut (using Cutwork) this adorable little watermelon ornament.

There were are…working hard!

For Bernina Century Club, we visited the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum.  Saw some pretty neat stuff…

“While in Texas, wear a cowboy hat and boots.”  CHECK!

Bernina University Day 2

We have a day under our belt already at Bernina University in San Antonio right on the River Walk!  We are learning SOOO much, and we got a special sneak peek at the new Bernina 5-Series machines!  VERY EXCITING!  Can't wait to show you!  What have you guys been up to?  Have you been sewing?  Staying cool, I hope!  -Suzie

Bernina University

Suzie and Marcia are off the San Antonio for a week full of Bernina seminars and classes!  They'll be back with the newest and the best of Bernina!  Scheduled sessions for them are the unveiling of the NEW Bernina 5 Series machines, sewing with 380's, focus on feet, Bernina cutwork, applique and embroidery using the marvelous 830, sergers and of course business meetings.

Just when you think you've seen it all, Bernina comes up with great new gotta haves!!

Can't wait to see what they bring back to the shops!

Vacation!!!

Embroidery Block of the Month tomorrow morning in Racine - July block and a fun demo on cutwork and embroidery with the new Floralisious Embroidery mini collection --- it is WAY FUN! 

Then we are off to Leech Lake (hate the name of that lake :)) to meet up with my kiddo's and grandkids for a week of boating, water sports, swimming, fishing, playing and of course good food!  Tom has to wait for the class to be over before we can leave - - hmmmmmm - -  wonder if he will participate in our class???
